Why bother with ta-lib?

Can’t afford a Bloomberg terminal?
Do you think in code and struggle to make sense of gui driven trader tools?
Want better control of your stock selectors, ability to custom analyse stocks, commodities and currency pairs?

Need to design your own stock alerts to snag that latest stonk or want to avoid becoming the next autist retard confession on Wall St Bets?

Have you watched the trader beasts in WallSt Bets waxing on about obscure trading signals, Kaufman AMA’s, Hilbert Transform’s and Pattern recognitions using shapes you barely remember from trig classes?

ta-lib may be for you.

In a perfect world, everything would be easy to install. In the real world, the best tools are often custom rolled and need a little work to get running.

ta-lib is no different. Butterfly level coders might be able to bypass this blog and install from source code without blinking, for the rest of us mere mortals, a friendly hand-holding through the process soothes those nerves. (butterfly level coders are welcome to request the next topic and help me push boundaries)

Here we will save you a little time and hassle getting ta-lib up and running.
