I found this in September 2019. Not sure what the current best practices are. tried following the example provided and Andriod IDE hung up on errors when adding <meta-data… blah to AndroiManifest.xml

Other tutorials/demo’s Ive seen with later dates suggested used Kotlin. I’m not sure which to follow.
